Help with the upfront cost
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme helps towards the cost of an eligible low-carbon heating upgrade. Your installer deducts the grant from your installation quote, so you can see the funding and any remaining balance before you agree.
Eligible oil or LPG properties without a mains gas connection may receive up to £9,000 towards a qualifying air-to-water or ground source heat pump. Eligible gas or electric-heated properties may receive £7,500.
The £1,500 oil/LPG uplift is available until 31 March 2027, subject to current scheme rules. One grant per property. Other technologies have different rates and conditions.

Energy Efficient You Ltd offers fully funded air source heat pump installations where the eligible BUS voucher covers the full agreed cost.
Your technical survey and written quotation confirm whether your home qualifies, the work included and any additional costs. Optional upgrades or non-standard works carrying a charge are explained for you to review and agree before installation.
Interest-free credit may be available where applicable, subject to eligibility and finance terms.

Heating designed around your home
A heat pump transfers heat from outside air into a water-based heating system. A suitable design can supply radiators throughout your home and provide hot water through appropriate storage.
A well-designed system can use less electricity than direct electric heating. Running costs depend on your property, energy tariff, system design and how you use it.
Your assessment considers heat loss, radiator sizes and pipework, hot water storage, electrical supply, equipment space and any permissions needed.
Insulation and other improvements are not automatically covered by BUS. Any further work and costs will be explained in your written specification.

No benefits requirement. Homeowners and landlords can enquire; private tenants need the owner’s involvement. The indoor system uses external air vents rather than a separate outdoor unit.
